Robert Reaves

Robert Wayne Reaves, 32, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at his home. Born October 25, 1976, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of David Reaves and the late Wanda Parris Reaves. He was a cook and waiter at Minnow Creek Restaurant in Gaffney and a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Nicole Allen of Spartanburg; a brother, David Joe Reaves of New Hampshire; his maternal grandparents, Jesse Willard Parris and Ellwanda Parris of the home; aunts and uncles, Dale and Pat Parris of Stafford, VA, Cary and Kathy Parris of Woodruff, and Bob and Ingrid Calhoun of Boiling Springs; a niece, Chelsea Reaves of Boiling Springs; and cousins, Courtney Parris of Conway, and Christie Munn of Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet and the Rev. Doug Turner. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, SC. The family is at the home of Bob and Ingrid Calhoun, 315 Hamilton Gaines Court, Boiling Springs.
