Robert Milligan

Robert Harold Milligan, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 25, 1947, in Wellsville, OH, he was the son of the late Harold Edwin and Aileen Vashta Roberts Milligan. Mr. Milligan loved his family, kids, and grandkids. He also loved college basketball, especially Duke University and was the retired basketball coach for SC School for the Deaf & Blind. He volunteered at Spartanburg Methodist College as a basketball coach after retiring and attended Milestones Community Church. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Daniel Milligan; daughters, Julia Milligan of Spartanburg, SC and Cecilia Milligan of North Carolina; grandchildren, Samantha Milligan, Ronan Rex, and Harley Rex; and sisters, Janice Monte and Patricia Brown, both of Ohio. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
