Robert Hunt, Jr.

Robert Edwin "Ed" Hunt Jr., 66, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at his home. Born February 15, 1947, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Edwin Hunt Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Brown Hunt, and husband of the late Donna Kay Daniels Hunt. Mr. Hunt was the founder of CBR Technologies. He was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church and frequent patron of the Waffle House on Asheville Highway. Survivors include his son, Robert Shane Hunt (Elizabeth); daughter, Shawn Byars (Johnny); grandchildren, Scarlett and Chandler Byars and Morgan Hunt; and sisters, Beth O'Steen and Sarah Hunt. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett.
