Robert Howell

Robert Dennis Howell, 87, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Monday, August 10, 2015, at Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Spartanburg. Born November 18, 1927 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Lavada Lovings Howell. Mr. Howell was a retired paint contractor, avid NASCAR fan, and member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. He loved his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Ann Lois Fowler Howell; daughters, Robin Howell Pruitt of Boiling Springs, SC, Brenda Gosnell (Tim) and Sheila Gage all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Jennifer and Scott, and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Summer, and nine brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
