Robert Greene

Robert Michael Greene, 56, of Greenville, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at his home. Born September 15, 1961, in Savannah, GA, he was the son of Robert Grayson Greene and Wilma Royer Greene of Spartanburg, SC. Michael was a graduate of Dorman High School and received his BA in Business Administration from Lander University. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Michael was a gentle soul who lived with great dedication and determination to accomplish his goals in life which led to a successful business career and entrepreneurial spirit. He had an uplifting personality and was a person of strong character. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kim Greene Fellner (Robert) of Charleston, SC; brother, Mitchell Grayson Greene of Beaufort, SC; two nieces and three nephews; and brother-in-law, William Lloyd Costner. He was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda Greene Costner. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Schuyler Peterson, The Rev. Chris Mull, and eulogist, Mr. Daniel Greene. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at their respective homes.
