Robert Gibson

Robert "Rob" August Gibson, 57, of Spartanburg and formerly of Catonsville, MD, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1963 in Catonsville, MD, a son to the late William and Marian Detlof Gibson. Rob had a long career as an automobile salesman at various dealerships in South Carolina and Maryland. He enjoyed music, sports (especially his beloved Baltimore Ravens) and helping friends and family whenever he was asked. He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to fix anything broken. Rob will be sadly missed by all who know and loved him. Surviving are his siblings, Joe and Barbara Gibson of Spartanburg, SC and Susan Beasley and Kevin Gibson of Catonsville, MD, plus a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends everywhere. Rob was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas Gibson. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no services held at this time.
