Robert Dunn

Robert Edward Dunn, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 10, 1940 in Canonsburg, PA, he was the son of the late James Albert and Mary Louise Cuppett Dunn. Mr. Dunn attended Hopewell High School in Aliquippa, PA and was president of the 1958 Senior Class and captain of the Hopewell High School Football Team. Immediately after graduation he enlisted in the US Army to serve and protect our country. He spent his entire career in the Glass Manufacturing Industry and finished employed as a mechanical engineer for Saint-Gobain Glass. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Cathy Hullihen Dunn; sons, Kevin Dunn (Lauren) of Bridgewater, NJ, Duane Baldish of Mary Esther, FL, and Ronald Baldish (Donna) of Mays Landing, NJ; six grandchildren, Keirsten, Kurtis and Jackson Dunn and Alexis, Kessa and Nadia Baldish; and his Shih Tzu, Sadie. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Keith Patrick Dunn; brothers, Thomas Dunn, Jack Dunn, and James Dunn; and sister, Mary Louise Dunn. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Robert Emory.
