Robert Dellinger

Robert Ernest Troy Dellinger, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, July 12, 2013. Born September 1, 1924, in Boiling Springs, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Ernest and Zora Thompson Dellinger. A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Dellinger was retired from Duke Energy and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughter, Patricia Yvonne Arthur (Robert "Ted") of Spartanburg, SC; son, Terry Lee Dellinger (Jeanelle) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Amy Gamm, Sherrie Blakely, and Crystal Hines; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Keith Dellinger (Karen). He was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred Fay Dellinger Dixon; and second wife, Margaret C. Dellinger. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
