Rita Ann Willis Spencer, 69, of Roebuck, SC, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center-ER. Born April 19, 1944, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lee Brown and Mary Edith Cook Willis, and widow of Thomas Melrose Spencer. Mrs. Spencer was retired from Roebuck Plastics and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Anthony Lee Spencer of Texas, Jeffrey Willis Spencer (Jana) of Ohio, and Julia Spencer Edwards (Dave) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Ashley Spencer Hall (Dustin), Alison Lee Spencer, Emily Karen Spencer, Spencer Eben Edwards, and Graham Thomas Edwards; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Hall, Jordan Hall, and Jaxon Hall; daughter-in-law, Tina S. Spencer; and two sisters, Julia Elaine "Lane" Hembree of Cowpens, SC, and Vicki Willis Marzouca of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Lee Willis. Visitation will be 2:00-3:45 PM Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
