Ricky Peeler

Ricky D. Peeler, 61, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 2, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 15, 1961 in Cowpens, SC, he was the son of the late Junie Oscar Peeler Jr. and Peggy Jean Bradley Mode.

Ricky was employed with Kohler Co. He was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God. He loved camping, Genealogy and loved his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Peeler of the home; children, Heather Berry (Devin) of Pacolet, SC, Jessica Peeler of Spartanburg, SC, and Ricky D. Peeler Jr. (Katie) of Crestview, FL; nine grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Natalie Sullivan, Kayla Peeler, Lucas Peeler, Emma Berry, Jackson Peeler, Grant Stinson, Elyssa Berry, Eastin Berry; and siblings, Tommy Peeler (Pam) and Eddie Peeler, both of Gaffney, SC and Lynn Humphries (Mike) of Mooresburg, NC; his two chihuahuas, Chi-Chi and Bebe; and his kitten, TinkTink. He was predeceased by two siblings, Kenneth Peeler and Sandra Coyle, along with his special chihuahua, Petey.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Pacolet Mills Church of God, 810 Sutton Road, Pacolet Mills, SC 29372, conducted by The Rev. Michael Hutchins, Mr. Tommy Peeler, Mr. Eddie Peeler, and Mrs. Heather Berry. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
