Richard Wright

Richard Bernard Wright, 74, of Boiling Springs, SC died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Magnolia Manor Inman. A native of Glendale, he was born March 5, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC. He was the son of the late Charles A. and Ionia W. Wright. Richard was a former supervisor at Butte Knit and a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg. Survivors include his former wife and co-caregiver, Jenny Lynn Whitt Wright; daughter, Narda Wright Morris (Jeff) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandsons, B.J. Morris (Andrea) of Duncan, SC; Colby Morris (Lauren) of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Morris of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Bear, Norah, Rowan, Remy, Sully, and Lydia. Along with his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother, Charles Aster Wright, Jr. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by his son-in-law, Mr. Jeff Morris.
