Richard Whitney

Richard Franklin Whitney, 62, of Wellford, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, at his home. Born January 19, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Luzettie Vess Whitney. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his sister, Lisa Hill of Columbus, GA; one niece; and two nephews. No services will be held.
