Richard Sellers

Richard Scott Sellers, 53, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 11, 1963, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of John Powell Sellers, III and Sandra McGraw Sellers of Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Sellers enjoyed cooking and was employed with Sellers Seafood Company and also as a chef at many seafood restaurants at Myrtle Beach. A graduate of Inman Christian Academy, he was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, John Sellers, IV (Traci) of Inman, SC; sister, Deeanna Sellers of Easley, SC; children, Scott Sellers, Jr., Rachel M. Sellers, Tyquan D. Sellers, K. J., Sabrina, and Elizabeth; niece, Jennifer Sellers; and nephew, J. R. Sellers. Viewing hours will be 8:30 AM - 12:45 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mitchell Edge. Visitation will follow the services. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at their respective homes.
