Richard Robinson, Jr.

Richard Long Robinson, Jr., 45, of Roebuck died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 10, 1965, in Washington DC, he was the son of Richard Long and Bertice Teague Robinson of Roebuck. Mr. Robinson was a member of Central United Methodist Church, a graduate of Dorman High School and Wofford College, and a realtor with Century 21 Blackwell & Company in Boiling Springs since 1990. In addition to his parents, survivors include his sister, Melissa Robinson Parris and husband Kevin of Spartanburg; and two nieces, Katie and Sarah Parris, also of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Sunday, September 11, 2011, in Central United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM in the church conducted by the Rev. Alex Stevenson and the Rev. Willie S. Teague. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 233 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. The family is at the home.
