Richard Jordan

Richard H. Jordan, 66, of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 7, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Richard Holmes Jordan, Sr. and Emma Sue West Jordan. He was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Pat Jordan; a daughter, Karla Jordan of Spartanburg; a son, Keith Jordan and wife Tammy of Lyman; a sister, Sallye Brian and husband Spurgeon of Greer; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Danielle, and Zachary Jordan all of Lyman. Visitation will be 2:-2:45 PM Friday, July 2, 2010 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Bill Bethea. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, P.O. Box 1582, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
