Richard Ivey

Richard Doyle Ivey, 65, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at his home. He was born on August 16, 1955 in Spartanburg, a son of the late Everett Doyle Ivey and Frances Martin Seay. Richard loved his children, his dog, Pearl, fishing, and taking care of his horses. Surviving are his loving wife of 44 years, Pamela Lee Ivey; his daughters, Jessica Ivey Allen of Charlotte, NC and Virginia Ivey Mingione (Mike) of Chesnee, SC; his son, Everett Doyle Ivey of Pelzer, SC; a grandson, Kevin Wayne Allen of Boiling Springs; and his sisters, Carolyn Cunningham (Rick) of Boiling Springs, SC, Anita Stepp of Spartanburg and Rosemary Dassel (Mike) of Campobello, SC. Richard was predeceased by a sister, Dianne Ivey. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
