Richard Faircloth

Richard "Rick" Wayne Faircloth, 58, of Inman, SC, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born November 24, 1955, in Columbus, NC, he was the son of Patsy Mae Soles Faircloth Arita of Leland, NC, and the late Robert Scarborough Faircloth. Rick enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and socializing. He attended Barton College in Middlesex, NC, was an HVAC contractor, and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Janice Marie Richmond Faircloth; children, Robert Wayne Faircloth of Inman, SC, Dana Marie Murphy (Shawn) of Union, SC, Christi Dawn Hickam (Luc) of Mooresville, NC, Stephanie Leigh Bramlett (Nathan) of Union, SC, and Rikki Dale Faircloth (Jamie) of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren, Hayleigh, Hayden, Samuel, Maddison, Jack, Natalie, and Alyson; brothers and sister, Randy Faircloth of Wilson, NC, Terry Faircloth of Seattle, WA, Johnny Faircloth of Orlando, FL, Ray Arita of Leland, NC, Barry Arita of Wilmington, NC, Nancy Roper of Norfolk, VA, and Jeff Arita of Leland, NC; and step-father, Paul Arita of Leland, NC. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the family home. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Richmond family cemetery, by the Rev. Scott Cobb. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Richard Faircloth Memorial Fund, PO Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home.
