Richard Davieds

Richard Werner "Rick" Davieds, 56, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at his home. Born January 6, 1955, in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of Helene Pfeifer Davieds and the late Werner G. Davieds. A loving and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Rick was also a former AYSO soccer coach and the Director of Finance with Hubbell Lighting in Greenville. Rick will always be remembered for his outgoing and fun loving personality and his love for life. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Bain Davieds; three daughters, Brittany Elaine Akers, Helena Marie Davieds, and Rebecca Lore Davieds, all of Spartanburg; three sisters, Barbara Davieds and Gabriele Davieds, both of New York, and Nicole Davieds of Asheville, NC; and special cousin and friend, Mike Davieds of Outer Banks, NC; along with many much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother-in-law's. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
