Richard Coffin

Richard Conrad Coffin, 68, of Spartanburg, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 8, 1943, in White Bear, MN, he was the son of the late James Price Coffin, Jr. and Naomi Dahms Coffin. Following retirement in 2009, Richard was honored by his many co-workers and hospital staff who celebrated Richard's hard work and resilient spirit. Richard is survived by his brothers and sisters: James Price Coffin of Lakeland, TN, Philip Coffin of Niwot, CO, Lee Coffin Synnestvedt of Glenview, IL, Gale Coffin Arnoux of Boynton Beach, FL, Bruce Coffin of Montrose, CO, Wayne Coffin of Spartanburg, SC, and Christine Coffin Lee of Greensboro, NC. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Patricia Coffin Olson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 13, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC, conducted by the Rev. Prescott Rogers of Charlotte, NC.
