Richard Belford

Richard "Rick" Wayne Belford, 69, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 22, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Howard Adam and Catherine Rothmel Belford. As a veteran of the US Air Force, Mr. Belford served in Korea. Richard was a robotic technician with Magna International. His love was being a volunteer firefighter at Croft Fire Department and a HAM Radio Operator. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Doris Jones Belford; son, Tommy Joe Faught of Atlanta, GA, four brothers and two sisters. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his sons, Cary Wayne Faught and Jeffery Todd Faught. Visitation will be 11:00 - 11:45 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon, conducted by Mr. Stan Farmer. Burial with military rites will follow in the M.J. Dolly Cooper Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
