Rhonda Garland

Rhonda Huss Garland, 70 years of age, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Spartanburg Memorial Hospital. Born May 24, 1950, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the wife of Christopher Nyko Garland, and the daughter of the late Julia and William C. Huss, Jr. Mrs. Garland was employed many years as a dental office assistant, Church Secretary and Treasurer before retiring. She gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized at a young age. Mrs. Garland was a member of Temple Independent Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Summer Garland Vincent and her husband, Shawn; three grandchildren, Will, Lila, and Miles; three sisters, Janice Riddle (Johnny) of Roebuck, SC, Susan Waldrop (Leonard) of Spartanburg, SC and Karen Vickers (Michael) of Weaver, AL, along with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. The family would like to express great gratitude to the entire staff at Spartanburg Medical Center, COVID Floor, for taking such wonderful care of Rhonda. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Johnny Cox. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
