Reverend Jack Blanton Mullinax, a devoted husband, loving father, and esteemed pastor, passed away on November 23, 2023, at his home in Spartanburg, SC. He was the son of the Late Clyde Mullinax and Late Julia Blanton Mullinax, born on March 29, 1939, in Kingsport, TN. He dedicated his life to his wife, his children, and his ministry. Throughout his career, Reverend Mullinax touched the lives of countless families and individuals with his unwavering faith and compassionate spirit.

His life verse from Philippians 4:13 encapsulated his unwavering trust in Christ's strength: " I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength." This verse served as a guiding light for Reverend Mullinax as he ministered to those in need and faithfully carried out his pastoral duties.

He obtained an Associate Degree in Religion from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Above all else, Reverend Mullinax cherished the love of his life of 64 years, Brenda Ann Eaker Mullinax. Their bond was unbreakable, and Reverend Mullinax held Brenda dear to his heart. Together they built a strong and loving family, defined by their shared values and support for one another.

Reverend Jack Blanton Mullinax leaves behind a legacy of love that extends beyond his immediate family. He is survived by four daughters: Annette Stevens, (Mike) Renee' Crocker (Tommy), Shawn Van Dyne (Raymond), and Dawn Toedter (Roger). Each daughter carries their father’s values, ensuring that his love and faith will continue to carry through the generations.

Additionally, “Papa” will be deeply missed by his eight grandchildren: Austin Van Dyne, Kelsie Van Dyne, Bailey Sizer (Chris), Erin Senn, Mariah Toedter, Nathaniel Toedter, Kristen Crocker, Christopher Crocker (Rebecca), as well as his nine great-grandchildren: Ike, Harlee, Jacksenn, Daeson, Kyndee, Amos, Ruby, Eden, and Ella. Their lives have been enriched by their grandfather's wisdom and unconditional love. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Robbins.
