Rev. Wofford

Robert Morris Wofford, 91, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his home. Born May 3, 1929 in Inman, SC, he was the son of the late Lewis Edward and Goldie Foster Wofford and husband of 64 years to the late Doris T. Wofford. A graduate of Wofford College and Emory University where he received his Master of Divinity degree, Rev. Wofford was an ordained Methodist minister, retired after 60 years of service. He served and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church for his last 16 years in the ministry. A special father, his life was a demonstration of being Christ's selfless, honorable, humble, and loving servant. Survivors include his daughter, Maria Wofford Eubanks (Randall) of Spartanburg, SC; son, John Mark Wofford (George Day Loder) of the home and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg SC 29307 conducted by The Rev. Will Brown and The Rev.
