Rev. Stacy

Rev. Charles G. Stacy, 63, of 222 Oakdale Rd., Cowpens, beloved husband of Linda Kay Stacy, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home. Born September 16, 1947, in Whitesville, WV, he was the son of the late George Washington and Palina Miller Stacy. Rev. Stacy was a faithful member of North Spartanburg Church of God where he was a former Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Church and Pastor's Council. He retired from Timken Bearing as a supervisor. Other surviving family members include his son, Charles Kevin Stacy (Tabitha Lynn) of Mooresboro, NC; a daughter, Michelle Stacy Mullinax (Jonathan) of Gaffney; a grandson, Jordan Mullinax of Gaffney; two granddaughters, Gabrielle Mullinax of Gaffney, and Autumn Stacy of Mooresboro, NC; a brother, Gene Edward Stacy of Groveport, OH; one niece and several nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Charles Kevin Stacy, Jr. and a brother, George Washington Stacy Jr. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at North Spartanburg Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the church, conducted by the Rev. Larry Flippo and the Rev. John Brooke. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
