Rev. Sheely

Rev. Margaret Ann Sheely, 67, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, November 11, 2016, at Mountain Home Health and Rehabilitation-Hendersonville. Born February 8, 1949, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Clarence and Vivian Clayton Sheely. Rev. Sheely was ordained in the Lutheran Church and served for many years as a chaplain at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her uncle, James "Jim" Reeves of Spartanburg, SC; cousins, Jane Wells (Randy), Iris Anne Johnson, and Patricia Campbell (Cliff), all of Spartanburg, SC, Caroline Hughey and Jamey Hughey, both of Boiling Springs, SC, W. G. Johnson, Jr. (Lori) of Dallas, TX, and Laura Dickson (David) of Campobello, SC; and lifelong best friend, Terry West of San Francisco, CA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an aunt, Margaret C. Reeves; and cousin, Mary Elizabeth Clayton. A cryptside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Andy Case.
