Rev. Joe Mosley of Spartanburg, SC, entered the gates of Heaven, shouting and praising God on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black Campus. Born January 26, 1941 in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mildred Dean Mosley and the late beloved grandmother, Lilian Dean who raised Joe. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Rev. Mosely was the pastor of Dove Assembly Church where he served for over 40 years. He love to restore old cars and was a dirt race car driver. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Susan Miller Mosely; daughters, Teresa Allison (Red) and Tera Jade Mosley all of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Robert Sheehan of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Christy Marshall (Jerrod) of Saluda, SC, and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, and Katelyn. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by The Rev. Monty King and The Rev. Todd Stewart. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
