Rev. Corbin

Rev. Timothy Scott Corbin, 57, of Spartanburg, SC passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, after suffering from heart failure and complications. Born March 4, 1964 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Lynette Amick Corbin and the late James Richard Corbin. Scott was the pastor of Truth Chapel World Evangelism Fellowship Church and manager of Sound of Truth Radio (WXPS 92.1 FM). He loved the Lord and desired, above all, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ without compromise. He was also a retired employee of the University of South Carolina-Upstate as a part of the IT department. Scott was a loving husband, father, son, brother, pastor, and friend. He cared about others and always sought to serve others first. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nikkie Corbin; children, Matthew, Gabrielle, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Chloe; and brother, Jimmy Corbin; among other loved ones. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Spartanburg School District 3 Community Auditorium, 381 Cherry Hill Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
