Rev. Blankenship

Rev. Roger D. Blankenship, 66, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, August 8, 2015, at SRMC. Born March 2, 1949 in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late William Herbert and Leona Hester Blankenship. He was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God, and was a former Chaplain for Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Pamela Wall Blankenship; daughters, Sheri Blankenship, Kimberly Marshall and husband Bobby, and Jamie Hicks and husband Josh; an adopted daughter, Luann Holley; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 AM on Monday, August 10, 2015, at North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Hwy., Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Pastor Larry D. Flippo. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
