Rev. Bell

The Reverend Dr. Eugene Gregory Bell, 79, of Pacolet, SC, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 29, 1939, in Oil City, PA, he was the son of the late Pete and Ethel Galloway Bell. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Dr. Bell received a Doctor of Divinity from Ashland Seminary, Ashland, OH and was a member of Allen Chapel United Methodist Church. He served as a minister in the United Methodist Church retiring from his last appointment in Indianapolis, IN, as well as, retiring as a Social Worker for the State of Michigan after 27 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Georgia Marie Grant Bell; 10 children; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, Dean Bell of Euclid, OH. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev.
