Rev. Arnold

Rev. Ronald Gary Arnold, 60, of Bamberg, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Moncks Corner Medical Center. Born December 31, 1949 in Plant City, FL, he is the son of Betty Carolyn Nelson of Zephyrhills, FL and the late Samuel Webster Arnold. He was pastor at Word of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bamberg, SC and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Brenda Sue Porter Arnold; a daughter, Regina Arnold Crane and husband William of Spartanburg; two sons, Gary Samuel Arnold and wife Barbara and Ronald James Arnold and wife Sarah, all of Jeffersonville, KY; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Storm, Colby, Casey, Lauren, Caleb, Chelsey, Cruz, and Jordan; and brothers and sisters, Terry Arnold, Randy Arnold, Diane Strowzewski, Sharon Black, and Sheryl Arnold, all of Florida. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Arnold. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Friday, August 27, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Rev. Ronald Arnold Memorial Fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
