Rebekah Kinsey Strange, 82, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away March 31, 2022. She was the daughter of the late James Henry and Inez McCallister Kinsey and was married to the late Samuel Tillman Strange for 49 years.

Becky was a graduate of Spartanburg High School Class of 1957 and attended Greenville Technical College and Midland Technical College. She was a beloved homemaker and formerly worked as an Administrative Assistant for Wallace Cabler State Farm Agency, Turner Trucking Company, and Johnson Motor Lines. She was a long-time member of Southside Baptist Church and in her later years she enjoyed watching First Baptist Spartanburg services on TV. Becky loved her family, her cat Stella, birdwatching, and the beautiful flowers Tillman would often bring home for her.

Survivors include children, Kim Strange Gossett (Robby) of Roebuck, SC, Samuel Jody Strange (Allison) of Spartanburg, SC, and Julie Strange Williams (Ronnie) of Boiling Springs, SC; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her lifelong best friend, Vera Thomason Israel.

A private graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Sal Barone.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Lee B. Taylor and his team at Family Physicians of Spartanburg for the excellent care she received for many years.
