Rebecca Ann Johnson, fondly known as "Ann", departed from this world on Monday May 13, 2024, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was born on September 23, 1934, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Lawrence and Lula Bishop. Ann was the twelfth child in her family and the last surviving member. 

Ann led a fulfilling career journey, spanning over two decades at Parker-Hannifin. Additionally, she shared her warmth and compassion while working part-time as an ambassador at JF Floyd Mortuary. Her commitment to caring for others extended beyond the workplace as well. Ann was actively involved in her church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she has been a member for the last 20 years. She devoted her time to various activities such as serving in the choir and teaching Sunday school and being a part of the WMU. Aside from her professional achievements, Ann found joy in various hobbies and interests including cooking, volunteering for Mobile Meals delivery services.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness within her surviving family including grandchildren; McKenzie Campbell (Shawn) and Raleigh Fowler; great-grandchildren Jack Campbell and Annie Campbell; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Ann is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband of 54 years, Paul Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her father Lawrence Bishop and mother Lula James Bishop, daughter Julie Lockhart, seven sisters; Wilma Cannon, Nellie Bishop, Ada Hammett, Virginia Cudd, Willie Mae Hawkins, Aileen Goode, and Sarah Johnson; and four brothers; Howard Bishop, Lawrence Bishop Jr, Curtis Bishop, Ray Bishop.

A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Ann's life will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens located at 1300 Fernwood- Glendale Road Spartanburg, SC 29307 on Friday May 17, 2024, at 10 O’clock AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethlehem Baptist Church building fund 797 Old Georgia Rd, Moore, SC 29369 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home 686 Jeff Davis Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
