Rebecca Graham

Rebecca Gwinn Graham, of Pauline, SC, wife of the late James Robert Graham went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 26, 1926, in Pauline, SC, she was the daughter of the late Junior W. and Irene O'Shields Gwinn. A graduate of Pauline High School, Mrs. Graham worked at Enro Shirt Factory and Carolina Blouse in Woodruff, SC for many years. Rebecca was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family very much, they were precious to her. Also, she was a "Grandmother" to Candace Farmer and Drew Bishop. She served as the Sunday School secretary, custodian, and was a regular member of the church choir until recently. She was also a member of the Ladies Visionaries Sunday School Class and the Forever Young adult program. Mrs. Graham is survived by a son, Harold Graham (Connie) and daughter, Mary Anna Bishop (Larry). She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kelli G. Smith (Chad), Dr. Stacy Graham (Heidi), and Brent Bishop; four great-grandchildren, James Allen and Graham Smith, Kylie Rebecca Bishop, and Grayson Graham; a sister, Mary Gwinn Skinner; and many special nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Lily Rebekah Smith; brothers, Woodrow, Christopher, Tanner, Boyd, JW, and Nesbitt Gwinn; and sisters, Nellie Peeler, Rosa Lee Peeler, and Margie Hayes. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2014, at Friendship Baptist Church, 830 Friendship Church Rd., Pauline, SC 29374, by the Rev. Brian P. Harris. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
