Rebecca Gilbert

Rebecca Ann Gilbert, 57, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 28, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lucille Gilbert. She was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Craig Lynn Kimbrell and Michael Charles Kimbrell both of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Verna Jenkins and Rita DeLoach; brothers, Kenneth Gilbert and Ronnie Waddell; and fiancé, Phillip Stepp. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy Eric Kimbrell. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Rainbow Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams. Burial will be in Rainbow Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rainbow Baptist Church Building Fund, 151 Short Cut Road, Chesnee, SC 29323. The family is at the home of her son, Craig Kimbrell, 258 Summerwinds Lane, Inman, SC 29349.
