Reba Crow

Reba West Crow, 87, of Fairforest, SC, died Monday, July 7, 2014. Born March 12, 1927, and raised in the Cannons Campground Community, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Brown West Collins and widow of Jack Patillo Crow. Mrs. Crow was a longtime active member of Fairforest Baptist Church, WMU, and the Sunday School program. She was also a member of the Fairforest Garden Club, loved working in her outdoor gardens, sewing, and cooking. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, she was an administrative assistant with the Spartanburg County Education office and retired from R. D. Anderson Vocational Center. Survivors include her daughters, Becky C. Sykes (Mike) of Spartanburg, SC, and Marian C. Hart (Curtis) of Hilton Head Island, SC; three grandchildren, Brian C. Sykes, Will T. Hart, and Jason L. Hart; and a brother, Raymond West of North Carolina. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Fairforest Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Joe Dempsey and the Rev. Brent Dowis. Burial will be in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
