Raymond Hildreth

Raymond F. Hildreth, 67, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 29, 1949, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late George Elwin Hildreth, Jr. and Alma Blanche Tolleson Hildreth. Devoted to his Lord and family, Mr. Hildreth was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church and worked in Janitorial Services with White Oak Estates. He had a green thumb, beautiful gardens, loved to mow the grass and work in the yard. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. Survivors include his wife, Kay Phillips Hildreth; son, Jason Anderson (Kelly) of Pacolet, SC; granddaughter, Emily Anderson of Pacolet, SC; brothers and sisters, Robert Hildreth (Judy), Mary Hildreth, Nancy Hildreth, Susan Wyatt (Wayne), all of Cherokee Springs, SC, and Linda Dillard (John) of the Cannons Campground Community; and a large number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Cherokee Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Hunter Wyatt, Wayne Dillard, Joseph Dillard, Melvin Hildreth, Keith Cohen, Kevin Blanton, Jennings Camby, and Jared Sanford.
