Randy Clyde Amos

Randy Clyde Amos, 67, of Spartanburg, died Friday evening, October 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1956, in Spindale, NC, a son of the late Joseph C. and Mae Elizabeth Harrison Amos. Randy is married to Angela Cohen Amos. 

Randy worked in Research and Development with Blackman-Uhler Chemical. He was a member of Carolina Baptist Church. 

Along with his wife, Randy is survived by his sister, Diane Johnson (Don) of Cary, NC; his brother, Tony Amos (Ana) of Spartanburg; and several nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by two brothers, Larry Amos and Stanley Amos. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A service to honor Randy’s life will be held 1:00 pm Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Marc Williamson. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
