Randall "Randy" Linton Goodwin, 55, of Clinton, SC, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at the Whitten Center-Clinton where he was a resident for over 50 years. Born September 25, 1960, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Jeris Ann Gilliam Goodwin of Spartanburg, SC and the late Dennis Linton Goodwin. Randy loved Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. He was famous for his tight hugs and especially enjoyed his Sunday afternoon rides through Clinton when his family came to visit. In addition to his mother, survivors include a sister, Tina Poteat (Mark) of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Tony Goodwin (Debra) of Boiling Springs, SC and nephews, Jake Poteat, Brian Poteat, Chris Freeman and Cory Goodwin. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett.
