Ramon Littlefield

Ramon Vincent “RV” Littlefield, 86, of Pauline, SC died Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home. Born October 22, 1934 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late R.V. and Ruth Pettit Littlefield.

Mr. Littlefield was a 1956 graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, School of Pharmacy, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Along with his friend, Joe Hodge, he owned and operated the Park Hills Pharmacy. Following Park Hills, he went to work at Walker’s Prescription Center and then to the Pharmacy at K-Mart until his retirement.

RV was a member of Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church. He loved to garden and was a former member of the Breakfast Sertoma Club. His favorite sport was golf and he attended The Masters for the past 58 years. Helping others in need lead him to volunteer for Mobile Meals.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Hidgon Littlefield, his daughters, Becky Littlefield and Beth “Lizzie” Littlefield, both of Spartanburg, SC, and their beloved dog, Molly. Their neighbors that were always so helpful and kind, Harold and Connie Graham, Larry and Mary Anna Bishop, Kylie Bishop, Chad and Kelli Smith, James Allen Smith and Graham Smith.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Dr. B. E. Pettit and Mr. Kevin Horres. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum.
