Ralph Lewis

Ralph Leonard Lewis, 69, of 1350 Old Canaan Road, died Friday, August 12, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 14, 1942 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Raymond and Manlee Blanchard Lewis and husband of Minnie Sue Gossett Lewis. Ralph was a farmer and a member of Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Leonard Lewis of Spartanburg, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, and three sisters. He was predeceased by two sons, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ralph Anthony "Tony" Lewis, a daughter, Tammy Sue Lewis, and three siblings. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 15, 2011 at Canaan Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Thornton and the Rev. Danny Powers. Burial will be in Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
