Ralph Berry Sr.

Ralph Donald "Don" Berry, Sr., 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born November 18, 1934, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Ralph Earl and Mary Louise Cudd Berry. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Berry was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church and enjoyed his occupation, for 39 years, as a bread salesman with numerous companies including Merita and Sunbeam. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Carolyn O'Shields Berry; children, Ralph Donald Berry, Jr. (Gail) of Roebuck, SC, George Steven Berry of Spartanburg, SC, Melody Berry Towery (Neal) of Cowpens, SC, and Donna Marie Dunagin of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by sister and brothers, Mary B. Waddell, Jack Berry, Jim Berry, and Bill Berry. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, October 30, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Steven A. McLain and the Rev. John Cox. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
