Rachel Lankford

Rachel Gaston Lankford, 80, of Spartanburg, died January 21, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 01, 1930 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Belton and Bessie Mae Pearson Gaston. Rachel was a member of the Nazareth Presbyterian Church and a devoted mother and grandmother. Survivors include two granddaughters, Tina Lankford and Christina Ivey; two grandsons, Eric Lankford, and Randy Smith; and a great-grandson, Jaedon VanSant. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2011 at Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case.
