Rachel "Faye" Bishop Moore

Rachel "Faye" Bishop Moore, 87, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Inman. Born on October 30, 1936, in Spartanburg, to the late, Roy Bishop and Lonis Wilson Bishop. 

For many years, Rachel brought joy and love to the lives of children through her work in the nursery at her church. With a gentle spirit, she embraced her role as a loving wife and mother, always ensuring that her family felt cherished and supported. Rachel lived a life grounded in her faith and values, as a member of the Presbyterian faith. 

She leaves behind her loving sister, Jane Bishop McAbee of Inman, her supportive sisters-in-law, Barbara Bishop of Boiling Springs and Frankie Bishop of Mill Springs, NC.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband, Jack M. Moore; her son, Jack "Jay" Moore, Jr.; her brothers, LeRoy Bishop (Nancy), Bobby Bishop, Frank Bishop (Mary), Sam Bishop, and Buddy Bishop. 

Graveside service will be held at a later date.

Rachel dedicated much of her life to nurturing those around her, with kindness and compassion, she will be greatly missed.
