R. Weaver

R. J. Weaver, 68, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at his home. Born January 2, 1944, in Lexington, NC, he was a son of the late Glen Sanford Weaver, Sr. and Ella Gray Wall Weaver Epley. He retired with 34 years of service at Leigh Fibers and seven years with United Cloth, and was currently employed by Advance Auto at Westgate. Mr. Weaver was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jenny McCraw Weaver; a son, Jerry Weaver of Wellford; a daughter, Angela Israel of Union; a grandson, Matthew Weaver; two granddaughters, Kaleigh Gray and Rachel Weaver; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Randall Jason Weaver and a brother, Glen Sanford Weaver, Jr. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 12, 2012, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ansel Norris. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
