R. Hines

Richard Craig Hines, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 31, 1953, in Jacksonville, FL and raised in Chesnee, SC, he was the son of Shirley Colson Hines of Spartanburg and the late Joe M. Hines. Craig loved reading and the beach. He was a member of Chesnee United Methodist Church and office manager at Palmetto Beauty School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Scott H. Hines (Patti) of Woodruff, SC; sister, Susan H. Conrad (Charles) of Spartanburg, SC; nieces and nephews, Jeff Hines, Stephen Conrad, Laura Brown, and Marianna Conrad. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
