Polly Genoble

Pauline "Polly" Henson Genoble, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born May 14, 1917, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Zora Lee Henson and widow of Grady Genoble. A member of First Baptist North Spartanburg, Mrs. Genoble was a retired textile worker and homemaker. Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Guy and Ruth Buchanan, both of Spartaonburg, SC; and one brother, Willie Henson of Roebuck, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, by the Rev. John Riley. The family will receive friends following the service at the Chapel. Burial will be in Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 680 Nazareth Church Rd., Moore, SC 29369.
