Phyllis Bemelmans

Phyllis P. Bemelmans, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born November 3, 1925, in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of the late Cullen Thomas and Beulah Pearl Stapleton Pennington, and wife of the late Norman Lee Bemelmans. Mrs. Bemelmans was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church and retired from the business office at Wofford College. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A family service will be conducted at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery.
