Phillip Smith

Phillip Andrew Smith, 58, of Pauline, SC, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at his home. Born August 17, 1955, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Dorothy West Smith of Pauline, SC, and the late Hugh Herbert Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of Life Changers Church. He was employed with Beverage Air as a design engineer and his favorite hobby was fishing. In addition to his mother, survivors include his cherished wife of 36 years, Glenda Delores Garrett Smith; daughters, Danielle Green (Patrick) of Pauline, SC, and Jennifer Black (Jason) of Boiling Springs, SC; six grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Cromer (Larry) of Pauline, SC, and Angie Cothran (Joe) of Chesnee, SC; and a brother, Richard Smith (Sheila) of Pauline, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014, at Life Changers Church, 8349 Valley Falls Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316, by the Rev. David and Mrs. Sherry Carter. Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 155 Deacon Tiller Court, Duncan, SC 29334. The family is at the home.
