Philip Porter Sr.

Philip Wentz Porter Sr., 76, of Greenville, SC, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Southpointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation. Born November 18, 1942, in Greenville, he was the son of the late James Daniel Porter and Dorothy Eleanor Wentz Porter. A graduate of North Greenville College and U. S. Navy veteran, Mr. Porter was a Real Estate Broker. He was also a member of the Optimists Club and Coast Guard Auxiliary. He enjoyed walking on the beach and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his son, Philip W. Porter Jr. of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Sherry P. Wright of Asheville, NC; brother, Jim Porter of Brighton, England; and the mother of his son, Kaye Reid Porter. Services will be announced at a later date.
