Philip Halford Sr.

Philip Lee Halford Sr., 61, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his home. Born August 17, 1959 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James E. Halford and Joanne Prince Halford. Mr. Halford was employed with Michelin Tire Corporation with 31 years of service. He loved family, helping friends and Ford trucks. Mr. Halford was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 333 AFM where he was a Master Mason and St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lynn McCallister Halford; son, Philip Lee Halford Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jessica of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Michelle McCreight of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Clark Halford, Samantha Halford and Heather Coon; great-grandchildren, Jackson Coon, and Caspian Coon; brothers, Gene Halford and James Edward Halford Jr. both of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Suzie H. Thomas and brother-in-law, Neil of Chesnee and nephew, Geoffrey Thomas of Chesnee, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a nephew, Gregory Thomas. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Robert L. Brown.
